I ❤ January (part 2)

This is what I'm talking about. College sophomore year gets good when you know you're diving into the meat of your course. Our professor announced it a month ago but now that it's finally here I am ECSTATIC like yeah. We were told to do a personality profile on anyone we want, preferably someone currently famous. It was a group project, thank God, because I don't really know how to get in touch with anyone. Anyway, we got commercial model, actor, film director and professor, Ramon Bautista as subject. It was unbelievable. Weeks ago, I was just dying to get a hold of his newly-released book, Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo, and now that I'm going to meet him face to face and write an article about it, things could not get any better. I wrote my questions extra early, like two weeks in advance. But then tables got turned when the day of interview finally arrived. We went to the University of the Philippines-Diliman, all giddy with excitement when I felt my stomach ache. It wasn't something ate, my tummy always does this to expose my feelings of nervousness. Gone is the optimistic fan girl inside me. A trembling, stuttering sheep took her place. And what made things owrse than my gut was that we were late. And I don't do late especially when it's an important event. Better the early bird or something. Anyway, I was shaking and my palms were sweaty while walking when we saw him. Looking like the self-proclaimed Greek god that he says he is, Ramon Bautista was sitting there like a normal guy in the Film Institute entrance staircase. Cue mind-blown expression here. I had to ask the first question and eventually do the talking because I had the more organized questions, not the better questions, okay, just the more arranged set. It went on quite smoothly, laughter in between queries was present. And though our little act of unprofessionalism almost became the reason the subject left, Mr. Bautista pushed through with our many questions, posed cheerfully for pictures and eventually bid us goodbye... hihihi
