I never doubted the phrase " friends that last forever". Ever since I could remember I believed there are people that could stay with you until you die regardless of the fact that different set of blood runs through your veins . College seems to put that theory to the test. I got together with some of my girl friends and they mentioned how they thought our barkada would never be the same again.
"people change" they said.
"people can change back" I thought.
To tell you the truth, the whole scene left a dent in my heart. I always believed in strong bonds and now here we are letting distance and misunderstandings invade our relationships. I miss the old times. I miss the wise-cracks & house parties and water-gun fights slash swimming slash food trips. I know it'll never be the same but still, fingers crossed and hope for the better.
